Steps for Washing your Hijab with Care

HAND WASH

Soak your hijab in a clean sink with cold water and add your preferred amount of detergent.
Gently rotate hijab in water occasionally with soft presses to the side of the sink.
DO NOT scrub or wring your hijab.
DO NOT bleach hijab (unless it is a white hijab bleach if needed).
If there are signs of stains use a stain remover on the desired spots then place hijab back in water. (Skip to next step if there are no stains).
Once again, gently rotate your hijab in water occasionally with soft presses onto the side of the sink.

After washing is complete, empty the sink of all soap water and refill the sink with cold water.
Gently rotate hijab in water occasionally with soft presses to the side of the sink.
Repeat first two steps of rinsing until there is no longer any signs of soap escaping the hijab.
Lift your hijab out of the water, drain the sink, then bring the hijab down to the lip of the sink and press it gently once more for all excess water to be removed.

Open your hijab completely and run your fingers through the perimeter; straightening out the boarder of your hijab.
Line dry your hijab for best results.
Steam or iron if needed.

If there is a stain, apply stain remover on hijab before placing it in the washing machine.
Place hijab in washing machine with preferred amount of laundry detergent.
